NCBF SPONSORS

National Concert Band Festival welcomes the support of the following sponsors:

ABRSM – Associated Board of The Royal School of Music

ABRSM is The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and a global music education charity.  At the heart of everything we do is our belief that music enriches lives. Building on our heritage, we offer face-to-face and digital exams, sheet music, recordings, apps and courses for students and teachers across the world.

In partnership with four Royal Schools of Music, we carry on a long legacy of musical excellence. More than an awarding organisation, we support learners from the first note they play, and empower teachers who help build musical skills and encourage progress around the world.

As a charity, we use all of the surpluses we generate to make significant donations towards music education initiatives and to develop our support for learners and teachers around the world. We advocate for music and its many forms, playing our part to ensure the future of music education and its place in society.

Together with our partners, our teachers and others around the world, we’ve been nurturing the future of music since 1889—to help people start or continue their journey.

Studio Music

Studio Music Company was established in 1957, primarily as a publisher and distributor of Brass Band music, and nowadays print and distribute music to education establishments and community groups around the UK and all over the world.

Over the years we have invested in other areas of publishing, particularly Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and Instrumental music, and more recently String and Full Orchestra. Our catalogues include works from many of the world’s top composers. Our Band and Instrumental catalogues also include several thousand popular copyrights, as a result of our close relations with several major publishers: Warner-Chappell, EMI & Wise Music, to mention just a few.

We now have an enviable reputation as, probably, the premiere source of printed Band and Orchestral music in the UK. This position has been supplemented with our representation, as distributors, of some of the world’s largest Band publishers including: Hal Leonard/De Haske Publications; Faber Music; Alfred Music/Belwin; Musicians Publications; Lush Life Music; Powerhouse Orchestrations; Obrasso Verlag; Boosey & Hawkes; Novello and Chester Music; Anglo Music; and many more.

Browse our website for thousands of titles to suit all ages, difficulty levels, and group sizes. Sample Score PDFs, Sample Audio and ScorePlay videos are also available for many of our products to preview before you buy.

Buffet Crampon

Buffet Crampon is firmly-fixed, through its history and its name, in the tradition of the manufacture of top of the range wind instruments.

Since 1825 the brand has developed around a know-how of exceptional instrument manufacture. This heritage remains the guarantee of recognition of our products “Made in France” and “Made in Germany“. This know-how is complex and valuable because it takes a long time to acquire and requires dedication and patience to pass on.

At Buffet Crampon, we frequently measure the training period in years. It involves the recruiting of young apprentices who are passionate about the instrument-making profession, ensuring we have the means to pass on to them the taste for the exceptional work and putting them to work with experienced people so that they can gradually acquire and develop the apprenticeship received. This know-how allows the identity and memory of all the instruments to be forged.

Thus for nearly 200 years, musicians have continued to find artistic excellence and the passion of music with Buffet Crampon instruments. In a collusive and intuitive dialogue with the most renowned artists, the brand’s ambition is to combine tradition with modernity, know-how with creation, history with innovation, in order to offer wind instruments of reference.
